Detailed Tour description:

Day 1: Airport transfer and check-in

Upon arriving on Madeira, your personal guide will meet you and take you to your accommodation.

This day is reserved for check-in and relaxation before the upcoming adventures.

Day 2: Full-day Off-road 4х4 Jeep Tour

In the morning, your guide will meet you at your accommodation between 9:00 and 10:00.

You will visit remote locations inaccessible by regular transport: the natural saltwater pools of Seixal, some of the island’s many canyons and small local villages showcasing classic Madeira lifestyle. You’ll also drive along winding mountain roads, offering breathtaking panoramic views of Madeira’s wild beauty. Along the way, your guide will share interesting facts about the island and organize a special BBQ lunch for you during a break in the highlands.

Between 17:00 and 18:00, you will return to Funchal, where you will still have time to explore the vibrant city evening life.

Day 3: Full-day Hiking Tour

Your guide will meet you at your accommodation between 9:00 and 10:00 and take you to the starting point of the Hiking route in our vehicle.

Throughout the day, you’ll occasionally return to the vehicle to move between locations, but this day is primarily dedicated to hiking in areas inaccessible by vehicle. You’ll explore unique sites such as the Laurisilva Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the mystical Fanal Forest, that reminds of fantasy worlds pictured by famous world authors. You’ll also visit mountain peaks Pico do Arieiro (1,818m) and the island’s highest point, Pico Ruivo (1,862m above sea level and around 300m above the clouds!), along with many hidden gems that still remain off the usual path, that will definitely take your breath away.

Around midday, the group will stop in a small village with a local restaurant, where you can enjoy an authentic and tasty meal of the local cuisine.

Between 16:00 and 17:00, you will return to Funchal, leaving your evening free to explore the city on your own.

Day 4: Walking City Tour of Funchal

Your guide will meet you at your accommodation between 14:00 and 15:00. Together, you’ll explore the fascinating locations of Funchal, the heart of Madeira.

You’ll visit some famous attractions, such as the cable car, offering breathtaking views of the city, or the renowned botanical garden and historic churches. Additionally, you’ll stroll through cozy streets to discover hidden gems, where your guide will reveal some of the city’s secrets. Along the way, you’ll also get a chance to taste the iconic Madeira wine, crafted exclusively on the island.

Between 19:00 and 20:00, the tour program will conclude, and then your guide will either take you back to your accommodation or leave you to continue exploring the vibrant evening atmosphere of Funchal on your own.

Day 5: Free Day

This day is reserved for your own adventures!

Relax on the beach, book a boat trip to see dolphins and whales, go on an off-road buggy adventure where you’ll be the driver, try diving or surfing!

Ask your guide for recommendations to make your day as exciting or relaxing as you wish. If needed your guide will also arrange transportation to your chosen activity.
